Within Europe, our offices are located at Cathedral Buildings, Middle Street, Galway City, Galway Ireland.

We respect your privacy. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and we want to provide a safe and secure user experience. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the information you submit to us remains private and is used only for the purposes set forth herein. This policy details how data about you is collected, used, and shared when you access our websites and services or interact with us.

How We Use Your Personal Data:

Halo Feedback is the owner of a web application that is used to create and manage competency and capability assessments and associated surveys. In agreeing to use our application, your information will be used to facilitate your providing of ratings of scores associated with competencies. You will be asked to complete a survey on yourself or another person and in doing so, you will score a number of questions relating to a competency or capability.

Your personal information will be used to;

– Create a user account in our application
– Invite you to participate in a survey
– Determine what language that survey should be visible in
– Create a report that shows your competency scores
– Create a report that shows aggregate competency scores
– Provide customer service

How We Use Cookies:

Halo Feedback uses a session ID cookie to identify a visitor’s browser. The session ID cookie is a unique number that our platform assigns a specific user for the duration of that user’s visit (session). This cookie is temporary and expires when the user closes the browser or after a certain period of inactivity.


Sharing Information:

When you use our application, it will only be initiated by an activity commissioned by your employer or the employer of the person requesting feedback from you.

If you agree to provide feedback, your feedback, competency ratings and any verbatim provided by you may be shared with the employer in question or a third party company engaged by that employer (such as a training company or company supporting this type of service).

If you are the person requesting feedback or in some cases, that person’s immediate manager, your feedback will be identifiable by others because each report will show your unique ratings and scores.

If you have a different relationship to the person seeking feedback other than their immediate manager, generally your feedback will not be identifiable to you and will be aggregated’with other persons’ feedback.

In some cases, the personal information required to create a user account will be shared with your employer or the employer of the person requesting your feedback.

Your personal information will be shared with us (Halo Feedback) as part of our management of the application.

Your personal information is not shared with any other parties outside of the above.


Protection and Storage of Personal Information:

Your personal information is protected by physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. We also use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption. For example, we use SSL encryption to safeguard all transactions between your browser and our application. In addition, we enforce physical access controls to our offices and files, and we authorize access to users’ personal information only for personnel who require it to fulfil their job responsibilities. We strive to ensure security on our systems and regularly review and update our security protocols.


Your Right to Access Your Personal Information:

As a Data Subject in the European Economic Area, you have the right to request, access, rectify, withdraw, delete, and restrict how we process your Personal Data. These rights include the ability to review the Personal Data we have in our Information and Communications systems concerning you, the ability to make any corrections to that Personal Data, the ability to be informed of who that data may have been shared with, the ability to withdraw your consent for us to process your Personal Data, the ability to request that we delete all of your Personal Data, and the ability to restrict how we process your Personal Data.
